Simplifying My Patreon

Hey there, Oxdarock here.

Some quick news first. I’m going to be making a paid post on Friday and Saturday at 3PM EST. Took a bit longer than expected. I’m not sure I’ll be able to post five times in time by the end of next week. I’m also going to start posting rough sketches of my old works publicly on a weekly basis on my Patreon and and here. I figure doing that will allow people to see what I do while still keeping an incentive for my Patreon and store. Lastly, I’m probably going to make a discord channel sometime soon. Really unsure of how it will go, but there’s no harm in making it I guess.

I’d like to thank everyone here and on other sites for responding to my recent posts. It’s really helped me reevaluate my Patreon and what people thought of my rewards. What I’m now going to do is to rework my Patreon again and simplify everything as much as possible. My posting schedule, voting, character suggestions, stack points, requests, and anything else, all in one post. This doesn’t mean that I’m wiping the slate clean, however, so if you’ve already suggested characters or requests, you won’t need to do anything (though you can still change them if you want). To simplify all the rewards in a few short points:
  • Voting polls will only be based off things I’ve done or concepts I plan to draw.
  • Suggested characters will be what I use for various picture purposes.
  • Requests can be be about whatever. They can be simple or somewhat detailed and I’ll just make them work somehow.
  • Stack points are used to add a bit more to rewards.
I’ll provide a bit more info when I make the new guide, but that’s pretty much all that’s going to change. In short, I want to make it as simple as possible for rewards that need patron input. This change is going into effect immediately, so if you want to ask me about anything, feel free to do so.

That’s all for now!
