Sponsored Commissions

Hey there, Oxdarock here! Welcome to the Sponsored Commission (SponComm) rules! The purpose of SponComms are to help me develop my Lusty Lamp Resort concept, and, more importantly, to build a queue of exclusive posts for my Patreon. However, they differ slightly from my normal commissions in a few ways.

Pricing

$200 Flat Price

*Aside from comic panels, SponComms will usually always feature Full Shaded pictures (excluding comic panels). In order to keep thing reasonable, most SponComms won’t feature more than two characters.

Rules

Generally, SponComms require  three rules be followed:

The main characters involved must be among those I have a decent amount of interest in (list of those here). Should any idea naturally involve background extra characters, those can be of any character.

The commissions must be based on and follow the concepts I’ve come up with.

Though I’ll allow some input involving scenario and character appearances, I have complete rein over the composition of SponComms.

Categories

Though I have a lot of SponComm concepts, they can generally be broken down into five categories, ranked from least to greatest in terms of how much discussion is needed between them:

Steamy Sequels: if there’s a picture I’ve drawn in the past within the setting of the Lusty Lamp that doesn’t feature OCs, I can usually come up with a… rather “steamy” follow-up picture. One thing of particular note is that any “Lusty Lamp Guest” picture must be followed by a “Snapbacks” picture, before I can draw any steamier situations (though Snapbacks come with nude versions, technically that’s steamy, I think).

Comics and Lead-In Panels: continuations of any ongoing comics I’m working on or have ideas for, most notably the Lusty Lamp Show. Lead-In panels are basically the growth/transformation process of any picture I’ve drawn that takes place within the Lusty Lamp. The former is as simply as requesting the next installment while the latter involves picking a Lusty Lamp picture that doesn’t already have mini-panels. Only thing of note is the number of pages per commission may vary.

Lusty Events: these are the game show picture series I’ve done in the past, including the Rub-Rub Roulette, Walk of Change, Biggie 7, Fusion Fashion, and PokèGiants, turned into ideas that are like mini-events. Though the first three conceptually involve some amount of randomness, unless the commissioner wishes to retain this, any TF can be chosen outright (there’s also a “semi-random” option as well), with the only rule being a cooldown of said TF for the next two related pictures. A list of TFs and Rules for Lusty Events can be found here

Worldbuilding and Recurring Moments: the former involves drawing concepts I have regarding the Lusty Lamp Resort for the first time while the latter involves taking those same concepts and drawing a variety of other scenarios. Though “Worldbuilding” is the most “unknown” category, I typically tend to know exactly how I want the first pictures to be depicted, so it’s mostly a matter of asking which idea feature themes the commissioner likes. In comparison, “Recurring Moments” might require more explanation if the commissioner wants to come up with a custom scenario.

Crowdfunding (SponComm Fund)

In the event someone isn’t able to completely fund a SponComm, they can instead donate to a crowdfunding page here. When leaving a comment, please include the category from those above that you’d like for me to work on next. Characters and TFs, however, are decided via my Patreon

Posting and Recognition

All SponComms will be Patreon exclusive before being posted as part of my Online store, the OxShop. Commissioners and contributors will, of course, be sent a copy of the commission, as well as the OxShop product their commission is part of. Their names will also be featured in the “Credits” page.

I’ll periodically update the list as I think of more ideas. If you have any questions regarding the rules above, etc, please contact me via Discord (oxdarockv2) or email (oxdaman@gmail.com).

Finally, to anyone interested in this type of commission, thank you so much. I realize this concept is essentially asking people to pay for me to draw what I want, so I have utmost gratitude for anyone with faith that they’ll enjoy my vision.
