Thanks again everyone for the monthly support, from my Patreon to my store to my tip jars and Squish Drives! I said January would be a catch-up month and it turns out I was 100% correct, to my chagrin. That’s why, for this month, I’ll largely be focusing on my commission pile that’s been building up. I apologize to those I’ve kept waiting and will be contacting you when I’m ready to start soon.
Moving on, as people will have seen, I’ve finished all the pictures for the first round of the Neptunia Fusion Squish Drive. I’ve opened the donations for round 1.5 (i.e their fused HDD forms), so if you’d like to donate to those, you can do so here. That said, due to how long it’s been taking me to complete these, I’ll only be working on two per month unless I decide otherwise. Side note: all of these will be going into the MISC archive of my Patreon, which has been building up a lot lately, so you’ll definitely want to join the $15 tier if you want to see everything that’s over two months old. All the Nep Fusions will be there until I finish the whole project.
Next, we have the Squish Tip Jars (yes, they still exist). I’ve done some adjustments to make them more fair and future proof, such as guaranteeing those who donate $400 at once a picture outright, doubling the boosts of donors’ suggestions every $250, and adding internal criteria to selecting winners that isn’t completely one-sided. I’ve also added the option of including characters to suggestions, so long as I take interest in them, even adding a quick character reference sheet. I don’t know if this will pique anyone’s interest, but it doesn’t hurt to experiment.
On that note, I suppose I can reveal this now that I’ve done it twice already for the HexaMomma TJ (big thanks to those who’ve donated to that). Rather than drawing just one picture for each milestone, I’d always intended to do an extra picture in the form of a reference sheet for the HexaMomma TJ and a second picture entirely for the Biggie 7 TJ (PokèGiants is somewhere in the middle). The reason why I don’t have it officially in the rules is due to how erratic my completion times are. I don’t want to voluntarily do so much extra work that it invalidates the purpose of the TJs if the original milestone picture takes too long.
But yeah, those are my plans for the month going forward. Please look forward to my future works and I appreciate any financial support sent my way. Oh, and I plan to take a few days to play Monster Hunter Wilds at the end of the month (not too long though).
