Hey there, Oxdarock here!
Opening Commission Slots
To start things off, I’m opening up new commission slots and will be listing them on my commission doc. To see my rules, pricing, and current commission progress and available slots, please visit the link below. I’ll accept up to ten slots, but I’ll start working when three are filled.
Squishrock Studios Commissions 2024
Direction of Future Works
Simply put, I’m in commission mode. I’m in the worst spot I’ve ever been in a good while and I need to fix that before I consider anything else. It’s more than that, however, as I’ve actually been in commission mode for most of 2024, since most of what I’ve done has been either Squish Drive or commission related. I haven’t really done anything LLR related, or solely Patreon related, at all. And quite frankly I’m not in a position to.
So, first and foremost, I’m gonna have to discontinue the Lusty Lamp Tours series. I’m not in any shape to do anything that doesn’t directly, or indirectly, lead to a somewhat substantial income, much less a comic series. In its place, I’ll probably start up a Lusty Lamp Q&A series where I can info dump answers to any questions people might have about the Lusty Lamp.
In order to still work towards building something, I’m gonna double down on Sponsor Commissions in a couple of ways, namely by drawing up preview pictures. Basically, they’ll depict the general look of the picture, but lack the character details. Also, while certain pictures will have pre-selected characters (like Snapbacks and Follow-Up series), for others, I’ll add an “Any Character Here” (ACH) option. Such pictures can be Sponsored Commissions, from which they must feature a specific character or one I’m fond of, or a regular commission ($15 per hour) if it features anyone else.
Lastly, as for the suggestion and voting rewards for my Patreon tiers… I have no idea what to do with them. Considering I’m not even comfortable drawing for myself these days, I’m definitely not in a position to draw what’s pretty much a voted request. I’ll try and figure something out in the future.
That’s all for now!
