The idea behind this is for like-minded individuals to fund my ideas as commissions in order to help build content for my Patreon/OxShop and assist me financially. However, it differs slightly from my normal commissions in a few ways.

Pricing

All SponComms ideas listed have a set price and need to be half (or fully) funded after the sketch stage and fully funded after the line-art stage.

RollOver Discounts

Should the completion time for a SponComm be shorter than expected, commissioners will receive a special discount, which can be used to reduce the price of any future commissions. Such discounts can be accumulated, but can only reduce the cost by up to half price. 

 

Prices are set by the assumption that they’re half of what they’d expectedly cost if commissioned normally via my hourly pricing ($15 ph). Therefore, the discount is calculated by subtracting half the price of the actual completion time from the amount paid. I will then record the amount and notify the commissioner. Should a SponComm be funded by two people, the discount will be divided between the two of them. 

 

Finally, Giant ($20) tier Patreon members who fund a SponComm will receive a discount that subtracts a third of the actual completion time from the amount paid and can use RollOver Discounts to reduce any future commissions by up to 2/3rds. 

Details and Outside Input

All details of the ideas listed are decided by myself with little outside input. I do, however, accept character suggestions from members of my Patreon ($15 and above). Furthermore, should they exist, I will accept any suggestions for background characters from the commissioner or patrons. 

Posting and Recognition

All SponComms will be Patreon exclusive before being posted as part of my Online store, the OxShop. Commissioners will, of course, be sent a copy of the commission, as well as the OxShop product their commission is part of. Their names will also be featured in the “Credits” page.
