Here’s a look at how I conduct voting polls on my Patreon.
-Character voting polls are held every month or so to determine who patrons want me to draw next based on a certain theme.
-Some voting polls are used to determine the theme of a picture or the theme of the next voting poll.
-Only patrons who have been successfully charged at least once will be able to take part in patron only polls.
-Patrons can suggest characters to be added to the voting poll. The number of characters one can suggest depends on their pledge level. Suggestions will only be accepted during the period before the next voting poll (which I will announce).
-Patrons can suggestion characters from popular series, games and also OCs. Suggested OCs will need a reference provided. I will not accept suggestions based on real people.
-Patrons who can suggest more than one character can have them separate or together. So for example, one can suggest “character A and character B” as two separate choices, or characters “A and B” as one choice.
-Patrons can add a short description to their suggestion. For example, one can suggest “character A with huge breasts” or “character B with this outfit” etc. This description will be added to the voting poll. Descriptions that suggest what happens in a picture (such as the pose or actions of characters) are also acceptable, however whether or not I use them is up to me. Furthermore, such descriptions won’t be listed in the voting poll due to the large number of words.
-“Giant” tier patrons can split their character suggestions between two polls. So for example, one can suggest that “character A goes to poll A” and “character B goes to poll B”, etc.
-Characters cannot win two voting polls in a row. As such, they cannot be suggested in poll following the one that they win.
-Character voting polls will be split into two rounds. The first round of voting is patron exclusive and will focus on characters split between polls A and B. The second round of voting will be public and will feature all characters suggested (excluding the winners from polls A and B). I will also hold a brief suggestion period between the first and second rounds of voting for anyone who would like the add or change a suggestion.
-All votes for the first round of voting will have equal weight, however during the second round of voting, not only are patrons allowed to vote in the public poll, they’ll also be given special patron polls that will weigh much heavier than public votes. The higher the tier, the heavier the vote will weigh.
-Voting polls that decide things like the theme of a picture or anything else will be patron only.
-Any changes or irregularities in the voting (such as tiebreakers or changes to the number of winners) will decided and/or handled via my decision and will be announced accordingly.
